He’s been a partner with us since the past 4 years, and he’s achieved an AUM (Asset Under Management) of 10 crore. So today, we are here to celebrate his achievement, and we’ll also discuss his feedback on achieving this milestone in such a short tenure.
Sir, please let us know something about your journey with Nivesh and how you achieved the milestone of 10 crore AUM. Please tell us how Nivesh supported you on this journey.
Thank you, Shivani, today is actually a very big day for me. I’ll definitely speak about the 10 cr AUM that I have achieved in the past 4 years. I’d say that 70% of the credit for my achievement goes to Nivesh.

Now we would like to know your approach for acquiring new clients and how exactly NIVESH supports you in this.
Well client acquisition is a very important aspect of this business. When I first started working with NIVESH, I was told that I will have to work extra hard for my first 100 clients. Later on from 100 to 200 or 300 clients will be a piece of cake.
Mutual funds are one of the best Asset classes when it comes to liquid assets. It has shown a performance of 20-25 % CAGR in the last 25-30 years. Now if you start with your first 100 clients and perform well, this number will multiply to 200 and then 400 and then further.
Along with your new clients, you must always focus on your older clients as well. You can also include yourself more in your hobbies and people who are into your choice of hobby as well, here you can refer your services to them in the future as well.
Now once you are done with the client acquisition part, the next step is validating the KYC status which hardly takes 2 minutes on the NIVESH mobile applictaion. And if you face any issues, the team at NIVESH helps you with it.
Sir please let us know how Nivesh is helping you in increasing your AUM, now that you have a 10 cr AUM in 4 years. Now what are your future plans after this? How much AUM are you planning for your next target?
Well, right now I maintain 1.5% SIP on my AUM. So right now I have SIP of 15 lakhs rupees. When my AUM will reach 20 cr I have imagined the SIP to be of 30 lakhs rupees. And every month I aim to bring a 4-4.5% raise in SIP sales. And every month I aim to bring a 4-4.5% raise in SIP sales.
Apart from this, if my AUM is 20 Cr I aim to make sales of 20 lakhs at least. On this the market returns range at least 15-17% .
So if you make sales worth 1% of your AUM, you get around 12% worth of business and since you maintain 1.5% of your AUM in SIPs, it fetches you business worth 18%. So that makes 30% growth in business, to this if you add 15% market returns and subtract 5% redemption, then that makes around 40% yearly growth in business. This increases the AUM by 5% in the next 5 years.
